Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website or order The Profitable Practice Playbook, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
1. Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Chris Matthews trading as RCM Solutions (sole trader), Irthington, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA6 4NJ.
- Email: [email protected]
2. What we collect
When you order
- Your name, email address and delivery address.
- Your phone number, if you give it.
- Order details: what you ordered, when, the amount paid and any refund.
- Payment details are taken by our payment provider, Stripe, in a secure payment form on this website. We see a payment confirmation and the last four digits of your card, never the full number.
When you start an order
Our order form has two steps. When you complete step 1, we store the first name and email address you enter and whether you ticked the box to hear from us, even if you don't go on to pay. If you arrived from an ad or a tagged link, we also store the campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source) and the page you ordered from.
When you email us
Your email address, your message and anything you choose to include.
When you visit the website
- Meta Pixel, only if you click Accept. If you accept cookies, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel records which pages you visit and actions such as an order, along with technical data like your IP address, browser and device. If you reject, or make no choice, the Pixel does not load and none of this is collected.
- Google Analytics, only if you click Accept. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics records how visitors use the site, such as the pages viewed, how long they stay and where they came from, along with technical data like your browser, device and approximate location. We use it to see what works on the site. If you reject, or make no choice, Google Analytics does not load and none of this is collected.
- Hosting and security. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
- Fonts. The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google.

4. Cookies and similar technology
The first time you visit, we ask whether you accept cookies for the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics. Accept and Reject are given equal weight, and neither loads unless you click Accept. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

5. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the companies that help us run the shop, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Stripe, our payment provider, to take payments, prevent fraud and run the checkout.
- The email service we use, to send your bonuses and any emails you agreed to.
- Our courier, to deliver your book.
- Cloudflare, to host and protect the website and to store order and order-form records.
- Google, which serves the website's fonts.
- Meta Platforms Ireland, only if you accept cookies (Meta Pixel).
- Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, only if you accept cookies (Google Analytics).
- Our accountant, and HMRC or other authorities where the law requires it.
6. International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations (such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
7. How long we keep it
- Order, payment and refund records: six years after the end of the financial year of the order, for tax law.
- Emails with you: as long as we need them to deal with your query, unless they form part of an order record.
- Order-form details if you don't complete your order: up to 90 days, then deleted, unless you ticked the box to hear from us.
- Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe. We then keep your email address on a suppression list so we don't email you again.
- Meta Pixel data: see the cookie table above and Meta's own policy.
- Google Analytics data: see the cookie table above and Google's own policy.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your data, where we don't need to keep it by law
- ask us to restrict or stop using your data, or object to how we use it
- ask for your data in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time, including through "Cookie settings"
Email [email protected] to use any of these rights. We'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
9. Children
This website and the book are for adults running or planning a business. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if the way we use your data changes, and change the date at the top.
